Pretty In Pink

Denim Jacket - Vintage. Pink Dress - H+M. Shoes - eBay. Bag and Skull Necklace - Topshop.

Hey lovelies!

The last two weeks have been so busy! Who knew moving to a different country would be so tiring?! Actually, I did. I knew it would be stressful, but not exhausting! I've literally been on my feet for hours everyday and I'm still waiting for a day off to just relax and sleep! Although, most of my days have been filled with new surprises and excitement (not including the numerous trips to the local supermarket!).

I'm still getting used the the Danish way of life, especially the currency, but I've met some lovely people so far. The weather has been great and I've been burnt on my shoulders and arms, currently looking like a lobster... is it obvious I'm a foreigner?! We've had wonderful trips to the nearby lake and yesterday, got together with people from the uni and we had a big BBQ - very yummy!

I'm also embracing the Danish culture by deciding to buy a bike and cycle! Haven't been on a bike in a good few years so I'll no doubt be a tad rusty but will hopefully get used to it! Already have some work to do for uni tomorrow morning, they like to keep students busy over here!

I took these photos before I left. My next posts will hopefully show you my adventures and experiences so far in Denmark.

More soon,

Helen

Aztec Adventures

Aztec Skirt- Ebay, Skeleton Top- Topshop, Black Bag- Vintage

Hey everyone!

I am currently writing this from Denmark! I arrived last Thursday and so have already been here a few days. I'm still settling in and getting used to my new surroundings. I've experienced so much already and can't wait to share my stories with you all. Apologies in advance for the lack of blogging. I've already started at TEKO VIA university. I'm at uni everyday from 9am till 3pm, so it's pretty tiring and very different from back home! I feel like I'm back at school because I'm not used to the early morning start but it's getting better as each day passes, I just need to get into a routine. I plan to write a large post about my experiences, along with some pictures to show you what I'm getting up to every day! :)

I'm afraid I'm showing you yet another one of my many eBay purchases! I managed to win this aztec skirt for a bargain £6! I've worn it with my favourite Topshop T-shirt, the Skeleton Wedding, it's really cute and always reminds me of Nightmare Before Christmas. The fashion over here in Denmark is already much more adventurous than the UK. People arn't afraid to just be themselves and wear whatever they want. I think there is less pressure to follow trends and a real emphasis on individuality, which I love! I'll definitely try and take some snaps of fashionably dressed students and hopefully turn this into a wee street style blog!

Will blog soon my lovelies,

Helen

Burgundy Beaute

Skirt- Ebay, Top-H+M, Bag-Warehouse, Shoes-Office.

Hello Lovelies!

So it's been a while but I'm back! :) I'm showing you guys another one of my great eBay finds - this burgundy skirt! Won it for a bargain £5. Also spotted this t-shirt in H+M and I'm a sucker for anything with skulls, so had to have it. Hopefully you've noticed my new hair!! I bleached the ends to create an ombre look and I love it! What do you think? I'm going to attempt to make a tutorial video on how I managed to achieve the look, although I literally am the worst person when it comes to technology, so might be asking a few of you for some help!

Going to be spending the next few days getting things sorted for the big move... I swear it still hasn't sunk in. There are a lot of little ends to tie up, just thinking about them gives me a headache. Safe to say, packing enough clothes to last me 5 months will be a nightmare!

Hope everyone is doing great and hello to new followers! :D
