Hey lovelies!
The last two weeks have been so busy! Who knew moving to a different country would be so tiring?! Actually, I did. I knew it would be stressful, but not exhausting! I've literally been on my feet for hours everyday and I'm still waiting for a day off to just relax and sleep! Although, most of my days have been filled with new surprises and excitement (not including the numerous trips to the local supermarket!).
I'm still getting used the the Danish way of life, especially the currency, but I've met some lovely people so far. The weather has been great and I've been burnt on my shoulders and arms, currently looking like a lobster... is it obvious I'm a foreigner?! We've had wonderful trips to the nearby lake and yesterday, got together with people from the uni and we had a big BBQ - very yummy!
I'm also embracing the Danish culture by deciding to buy a bike and cycle! Haven't been on a bike in a good few years so I'll no doubt be a tad rusty but will hopefully get used to it! Already have some work to do for uni tomorrow morning, they like to keep students busy over here!
I took these photos before I left. My next posts will hopefully show you my adventures and experiences so far in Denmark.
More soon,
Helen
