Hello Lovelies!

Firstly, MERRY CHRISTMAS! I hope you all had a lovely day filled with fun, family and food! As much as I love Christmas, boy am I glad it's over! I don't even want to think about the amount of food I have consumed over the last few days.. But hey ho, tis the season and all that! :)

I attended a live streaming of the Russian Bolshoi Ballet last Sunday and it was absolutely magical. It's become a family tradition to do this every year and it definitely provides me with the perfect dosage of Christmas cheer. We usually see the Nutcracker, but this year the show was Sleeping Beauty. The production was visually amazing and the choreography looked elegant, yet painstakingly challenging, and even my toes were hurting at the end! Haha! 

I wanted to show you all yet another vintage gold necklace that I bought from my favourite bargain treasure trove.. eBay! I absolutely love the style and design of this piece. It looks like twigs or even branches from a tree? I'm not really sure but it's a great addition to the collection. I think I'll now have to search for a jewellery stand big enough to hold all my beauties!

Hey loves!

So, school's out for.. Winter! It was my last day of Uni on Thursday and I'm finally off for the Christmas holidays! Can't wait to put my feet up and slob about watching Christmas TV all day long.... I wish! I still have a mountain of work to get through over the holidays, so no rest for me - Bah Humbug! 

Got serious love for Primark lately. I picked up this bright coloured tee back in Summer and been wearing it ever since. I love the paisley pattern and I may have bought it in white too... This lace skirt is an absolute essential for my wardrobe and can be paired with so many items. I had an old lace skirt that completely shrunk in the wash, but my good old Primark one has stayed intact! 

I also wanted to show you this necklace I picked up a few weeks ago. I bought it for my friends engagement party, and it was only £4! I love the teardrop, waterfall effect and the way it hangs on my neck so delicately! I think it looks much more expensive than it really is, and will be the perfect accessory for any outfit over the coming party season!

Hello Lovelies! 

Hope you are all in the festive spirit! I've been a little swamped with coursework at the moment but took time off today to take some photos, listen to Christmas music and wrap some prezzies - There's nothing better than that! 

This is my favourite festive outfit at the moment. I actually bought this H&M dress back in Summer, but knew the lovely burgundy berry colour would be perfect for Winter. The beaded Topshop jumper must be about 5 years old now, but it's my classic, go-to Christmas jumper, with the golden beads reminding me of Christmas lights - how cute!

I'm nervously still waiting for lots of my gifts to arrive in the post... Hurry up Postie! Hope you are all a lot more organised than I am!

Hello Lovelies!

Apologies for the lack of blogging lately. Uni coursework has taken over my life and I now find myself constantly surrounded by books and swimming through journal articles. My bedroom seriously looks like a bomb site. Roll on Crimbo for the excuse to get away from the books and eat myself silly!

I've been lusting over everything pastel coloured and shiny lately... The combination of marshmallow pink, cloudy blue and sparking silver is enough to delight any sweet tooth! We need colourful and shiny clothes more than anything right now, to help us survive the dark, grey days!

Hey guys!

Super quick post today! Posing outside in these freezing temperatures really takes its toll... Please ignore the red nose and watery eyes! Haha currently in the recovery phase after attending my best friend's engagement party on Saturday night. It was a brilliant night and big congrats to the happy couple - whoop! 

I'm currently bundled up in this lovely, chunky knitted Topshop jumper I won on eBay last week (I swear finding bargains on that site is my greatest talent) and haven't stopped wearing it under my many layers. I found this little elephant in the Topshop January sale a few years back. I haven't worn him much (sorry lil guy) but he's great at sprucing up an average outfit. Will definitely be giving him a few more outings soon!

Hey loves, 

Brrrrr. Safe to say I was extremely cold after this little photo-shoot in my garden. The first lot of snow fell yesterday and I just know there will be more to come... This is only the beginning! As Ed Stark would say, Winter is coming! 

This time of year is allllll about layering. I sometimes amaze myself with how many items of clothing I can wear at one time and not look like the Michelin man, but it can be fun experimenting with all the clothes in your wardrobe that are only worn on cold days! Time to get those chunky, knit jumpers and ridiculously wooly hats oot! That reminds me, I need to buy a pair of gloves, my poor wee fingers have been resembling icicles lately!

I'm currently sat in my pyjamas with a warm cup of tea, listening to the rain outside hit my bedroom window. I think I'll stay like this all day. Looks like hibernating season has also arrived.

Hello Lovelies!

Been a little quiet on the blog side of things recently, as uni deadlines are looming... But I'm trying my best to keep on top of work and the old bloggio. After all, it is a nice escape from the books! Currently in love with this skirt from 'Glamorous' at ASOS. It provides me with just the right amount of festive cheer and bright colour on these dark days! 

It's nearly the most wonderful time of year again! The Starbucks red cups are out, the sparkling festive city lights are shining and all the Christmas adverts are bombarding our televisions... All clear signs that Christmas is well and truly on it's way. I'm especially excited this year because being the youngest of four children, (I'm 21) there have always been some siblings missing from Christmas day... But amazingly, this year we will all be together! Bring on the family squabbles, laughs and the games of Cluedo and Monopoly I'm going to make everyone play! 

Also HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who follows my blog. I recently surpassed the 1,000 follower mark and I can't even describe how much it means to me!! With constant support and lovely comments, you guys make this whole blog thing worthwhile and enjoyable, so thanks again...

Monochrome Madness

Hey Loves, 

So I realise it's wayyyy too cold to be wearing a little Summer dress like this one on cold, winter days, but I had to show you this new favourite of mine; a monochrome floral number from good old ASOS. I've worn this dress as a skirt in previous posts but wanted to show you it in it's entirety, as it has a lovely, sweetheart neckline and flared skirt - winning combo in my opinion! With it being very comfortable and easy to throw on, this dress will definitely play a big part in my Winter layering! 

I'm now off to pile on a mountain of jumpers, hats and gloves as I tackle coursework for the rest of the day in my freezing, cold bedroom... A very uninspiring and boring Saturday lies ahead... Having a break at the moment though and listening to this song:

It must be the 'most played' song on my iPod at the moment, getting me through long and tiring bus journeys to and from uni, and giving me inspiration during much needed walks and jogs around my local park to relieve stress and get away from dreaded coursework. But of course, before any exercise, I'll make myself a cup of tea first. And maybe steal a few biscuits too...

November Favourites.

I'm sure we've all spent countless hours of fun on Polyvore, lusting over items we can't afford and making pretty outfits we wish we could wear! One can always dream though and it's the perfect site to dwindle away the rest of your day, and get fantastic outfit inspiration! Although it's a very dangerous website to be on, when you should be focusing on uni work, but everyone needs a rest sometimes! :)

This is my current favourite look. A classic style with an edgy grunge twist. Pair a shredded, crop jumper with a pleated, on-trend tartan skirt. Top up with shades, lipstick and your favourite handbag, and you're ready to go!
