Black Top + White Skirt - Primark
White Sandals - Dorothy Perkins

Hello lovelies!

So this is maybe the cheapest, yet stylish outfit I own! I picked up both the black cami top for £2 and the white skirt for £3 in the Primark summer sale. I needed a few last minute purchases before my holiday two weeks ago, and I'm so glad I got these. They are both really comfy and made from stretch material, which was perfect for travelling around in the blistering hot italian heat.

I wore this outfit to visit the crumbling city of Bagnoregio. The town was build on a hill which continues to disintegrate, therefore a visit is not for the faint hearted. We walked up the seemingly, never-ending walkway for a good 20 minutes (an impressive feat in 32+ degree heat) and we, quite deservedly, treated ourselves to a gigantic pizza and some yummy ice-cream afterwards! This sweet cat joined me during the photo-shoot and made quite the perfect accessory... wouldn't you agree? :)

* Italian Photo Diary // Part One *

Hello lovelies!

I'm finally home from a fantastic two weeks spent in the beautiful Italian wilderness. I was staying with my parents in central Italy and over the last 14 days, we visited some amazing places, from vibrant, busy cities, to quaint and tranquil rural villages. I've taken so many photos it would be impossible to share them all with you, so I've selected the very best snaps from all the places we explored. I've given the location of each photo underneath. Italy is a beautiful place and there was literally something picture-worthy round every corner. I had a brilliant time travelling around the exotic countryside, and I'm now thoroughly depressed to be home. I can feel my tan fading already...

Hope you enjoy :)

* My Travel Outfit *

Hello lovelies!

Hope you're all well! If you follow me on Instagram, (@electricsunrise) you'll know I'm currently on holiday in Italy - my favourite country! I'm so happy to be back in the land of art, music and gelato, and to get my annual dose of vitamin D! I love packing outfits for my holidays, but when it comes to choosing an outfit for travelling, I'm usually stuck. I like to be comfortable, yet stay stylish throughout the day... Here are some of my own suggestions:

Travel Outfit

 * Wear a comfortable pair of denim jeans or shorts; my reliable Levi shorts never let me down! Match with a relaxed and fashionable cami top, or slouchy sports lux style T-shirt.

* Carry a lightweight jumper which can be stored in your bag if too warm, or easily thrown on if the air-con gets too cold. A sturdy bag is also a must, and will help you keep your hands (stress) free, allowing you to carry all your airport essentials (Starbucks latte, duty-free shopping bag(s), etc).

* Most importantly, wear comfortable and well-worn shoes! Stick to your old pair of Nikes or converse, to guarantee no blisters accompanying you on your travels! Try and wear shoes that are easily slipped on and off, to save you from endlessly tying shoe laces at airport security... Not ideal!

* Finally, make sure you pack a classic pair of sunglasses, which will keep you looking chic even if you have no makeup on underneath the lens. Make sure all essential electronic devices are charged to beat the airport lounge boredom, and don't forget to pick out a good book, or two, to pass the time!

Oh, and one last thing... Enjoy! :)

Treasure Hunk

Hello lovelies!

Last week I was very surprised to receive a large, shiny, silver envelope in the post. I love shopping, and especially shopping online (makes me less guilty), but I did not remember ordering anything like this. To my absolute surprise, when I opened it up, it was a personalised 'Share a Coke with Helen' T-Shirt from Diet Coke, who have collaborated with ASOS!

At first I was very confused and was not sure why, or what it was all about. I soon learnt that Diet Coke have teamed up with ASOS to launch an exciting six-week summer competition. The campaign is called 'Treasure Hunk' and has been launched in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Diet Coke Hunk (who knew?!) this year.

So it sounds pretty ingenious. Each day, ASOS will hide Diet Coke 'Hunks' in unexpected places across the ASOS site. To find them, customers will have to crack clues given on the Diet Coke Facebook page and ASOS, and put the answer into the ASOS search bar to find the hidden hottie. If the customer is logged into the ASOS site and finds the hunk, he will appear wearing a Diet Coke T-shirt with the customer's name on it.

What do we win I hear you ask? Well, ASOS will select a daily winner at random and, at the end of the six weeks, one super lucky grand prize winner will be chosen, and will win a bespoke nine-carat, rose gold, diamond-encrusted ring-pull pendant and sterling silver chain worth... [wait for it] ... £4,500 (!!!) designed by award-winning jeweller Katie Rowland. If that ain't a reason to browse ASOS all day long looking for hot men, then I don't know what is!

The campaign is running now so go and find yourself a hottie or two!
