Spring Bling - Anjolee Jewellery!

Hello lovelies!

As you're probably well aware, I love jewellery! I love collecting gorgeous pieces and showing them off whenever I can. I love to scroll endlessly through eBay to come across cheap bargains, or take a trip to the local charity shop looking for hidden treasure. Every now and again, I love to treat myself to an expensive piece to mark a special occasion. Whether it's a 21st birthday, graduation or wedding, a piece of timeless jewellery can help to hold a million memories. I remember being gifted a diamond necklace and earring set for my 21st, and I'm constantly reminded of the great memories behind it.
I was recently contact by Anjolee, an online jewellery boutique specialising in luxury pieces, perfect for any special occasion. Anjolee are a leading luxury jewellery manufacturer and offer an extensive line of bridal wear, earrings, necklaces and eternity ringsI was recently challenged by the company to create a show-stopping outfit, using only Anjolee accessories. The jewel-loving magpie inside of me jumped at the chance and I had a lot of fun creating this shiny outfit.

I knew my favourite Anjolee pieces would look lovely in a Cinderella themed collage, and I decided to include a few bits (and bobbidi boos!) from the recent Cinderella Mac collection. I saw the movie last week and it was visually beautiful! I found that I couldn't take my eyes off the cinema screen as there was always something to look at in awe; whether it was a hilariously hysterical goose, or an absolutely magical blue ball gown, or even Richard Madden's crystal blue eyes, there was always something to keep me entranced the entire time!

Do you own a piece of Anjolee jewellery? Let me know what you think below!

Helen

* My Life Lately - Birthday Week *

Hello lovelies!

As I mentioned in my previous post, it was my birthday last month. I turned 23 and honestly, I wasn't too happy about it. I still consider myself as being 19, and I can’t quite believe how fast the years are flying by. Anyways, I won’t complain too much, as I had a wonderful day filled with yummy food, cake and presents! For my birthday, my mum baked a classic Victoria sponge cake with vanilla buttercream icing and homemade jam filing. My brother also gave me two delicious red velvet cupcakes, which made the perfect tea party treat. We ended up eating cake for days… Not that I’m complaining about that though! :)

Flowers and Birthday Cake!
The weather on my birthday was atrocious and the rain would not stop. As a last minute treat and something to do on the rainy day, my mum and I decided to go to the theatre and see a showing of 'The Bodyguard'. Although last minute, our seats were brilliant and I had such a clear view of the stage. Alexandra Burke from The X Factor is currently playing the lead, and although we didn’t manage to see her perform, it was still a wonderful show. I am a huge fan of musicals and have been lucky enough to spend three birthdays down in London watching shows on the West End with my mum. I have to say, I had not actually heard anything about The Bodyguard musical, and *confession time* - I haven’t even seen the movie!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the show nonetheless and left the theatre on such a high! The trip was even more enjoyable, as when we stepped outside we realised the rain had finally stopped! We headed home and had Chinese food for dinner, making it the perfect end to a perfect day. I think as you get older, you should fill your birthday with memorable experiences like this, and I know I’ll definitely remember this one! :)
Easter Chocolate Haul and Beautiful Spring Flowers

Finally, I'd just like to say how much I love my birthday being in March, as it always coincides with the Easter celebrations and tasty treats. I've thrown in a couple of Easter pictures from my Instagram (@ElectricSunrise), and as you can see, I was not short of a chocolate or two. I was very happy with the chocolate haul I received on Easter Sunday, and it's kept me going as I battle through the recent wave of uni assignments. I enjoyed my Easter holiday and spent the time exploring the Scottish highlands with a huge group of friends, and I can't wait to share my adventure with you all!
More soon,

Helen
