Hello lovelies! 

Being the self-confessed sun worshipper that I am, it's no surprise that I love the arrival of summer! However, living in Scotland can be a challenge and we are lucky to enjoy a day's worth of Vitamin D, let alone a few months! Nevertheless, summer is always the season where we can strip back our wardrobe, hide the dark clothes and pull out the cool, bright fabrics to wear throughout the warmer months. It’s always so easy to stick to the white/black/grey palette of clothes, but summer always inspires me to wear more colour - it must be something to do with the light mornings, the sea of colourful flowers in the garden, and the big, shiny, yellow ball of sunshine in the sky! 

Whilst avoiding uni coursework, I decided to put together an outfit that I'd like to wear on a summer's day, maybe spending a BBQ with friends and drinking a southern comfort or two. Do you have a preferred summer style? Let me know below! :)

Hello lovelies! 

I've felt so busy lately working away on my MSc degree, (I can't believe I have another dissertation to write...) and unfortunately my usual outfit posts have been a little sparse lately. However, I'm definitely going to try and get back into the swing of things soon, as I forgot how much I enjoy taking them and showing my outfits to you all! :)

When I'm heading off to uni in the mornings, I usually want an outfit that is comfortable but still shows off my fashionable side. I find bold accessories like these can help to transform an old Topshop dress into a simple, yet stylish look. I love my new loafers from ASOS that I snapped up in the sale, and which add a slight touch of bling to a relatively simple pair of black flats. I've also been loving my new bag from Linzy-Lou's. It's a perfect size to carry my uni books and laptop, and I still have room for my every day essentials too. * The Final Touch *

Hello lovelies! 

Nothing completes an outfit quite like a new piece of jewellery, and I love accessories that add a glamorous, final touch to a simple look. Last week I spent an afternoon playing around with some new jewellery I received from Born Pretty. The online store has a wide range of designs to choose from, and I can't wait to wear these stylish pieces throughout the summer. 

As a huge necklace lover, I always like to grow my collection, however I sometimes lack in the earring department. I spotted this cute pair online and the unusual, yet unique design instantly caught my eye. The pearl backing gets placed behind the ear and helps to create a dramatic look. I love this design and I'm now on the hunt to find similar pieces to add to my collection!
