BooHoo Black Friday // Part Two

 (All items available from Boohoo)

Hello lovelies,
As you will know from my previous post, Boohoo challenged me to create an all black outfit to celebrate the arrival of Black Friday! I decided to style two different outfits; one formal, one casual. I personally love both looks and will definitely manage to get a lot of wear out of each outfit over the festive period.
Outfit Two: I opted for this lovely dress which is perfect for any formal evening event, in particular, the fast approaching Christmas night out. It’s the perfect time of year to get the classic LBD out the wardrobe and dress up! I love this dress for so many reasons – the flattering design, the delicate, draping shoulder details, and the sleek silhouette it gives when worn. I also like to view this dress as the perfect blank canvas which allows me to go wild with accessories (something I love to do!). Simply add your sparkliest, shiniest necklace, and you’re good to go!
Which of my Black Friday outfits is your favourite? Let me know in the comments below! Enjoy the Black Friday sales, hope you find some bargains!

BooHoo Black Friday // Part One

 (All items available from Boohoo)

Hello lovelies!
Black Friday is approaching! You know, that mental weekend when everyone rushes out to do the majority of their Christmas shopping... As we are approaching this monumental day in retail, clothing giant Boohoo asked me to style an all black outfit, and as always, I was up for the fashion challenge! I've opted to create two different looks; one casual daytime outfit and the other a more formal, evening look (watch out for part two coming later in the week!).

Outfit One: I decided to add a little sparkle to my all black outfit and was instantly drawn to this glitter jumper. I'm not really a fan of garish, bright Christmas jumpers and will hands down always opt for a more subtle, yet shiny number, just like this one from Boohoo. I chose to pair my sparkly jumper with a faux leather skirt - my collection of black leather skirts is slowly growing and I'm very happy about this. The skirt is very comfortable and offers a great amount of stretch, which is perfect for when I'm munching away on mince pies and other delicious treats we have at this time of year.
Stay tuned for part two which will be on the blog in a couple of days! Oh and remember, all blog readers can get 15% off any watch from Daniel Wellington with the code: ‘DWelectricsunrise’. Go on, treat yo' self.

More soon,

Helen

Christmas Gift for a Loved One - Daniel Wellington Watch

Hello Lovelies!

It’s approaching that time of year again when we begin searching for that special gift for that special someone. I tend to struggle when it comes to thinking of gifts for loved ones but this year, with the help of Daniel Wellington, I’m sorted.

I’ve been very fortunate to work with international watch brand, Daniel Wellington, in the past, and I honestly couldn’t recommend the company enough. The brand specialise in high-quality watches and offer a wide range of classic and timeless designs. Daniel Wellington kindly offered to send me another watch, although this time for a loved one. I was absolutely delighted, because a great watch can be the perfect present!
I was really impressed with the selection of Men’s watches over on the Daniel Wellington site. I opted to give my other half the ‘Dapper Sheffield’ watch in silver. I was particularly drawn towards this due to its cool, stylish and relaxed design – the watch displays an understated yet smart look, whilst flashing a slight burst of blue from the clock face hands.

I was equally impressed when the watch arrived in a sturdy, leather coated case, and Daniel Wellington had even gone that extra mile to include a special gift wrap, to make it an all round beautiful gift to give. The watch itself needs no introduction – the well-crafted clock face and luxurious leather strap make it a great watch for any occasion – smart or casual – and I’m really excited to surprise my boyfriend at Christmas (he better not be reading my blog right now… I’m trying to keep it a secret!).

Have you been struggling to think of a Christmas present for your loved one?
Would a watch be the perfect gift for your other half?

If yes, Daniel Wellington is offering 15% off any watch with the code:
