Vodafone Smart Prime 7 Review 2017

Vodafone Smart Prime 7 // This blog is primarily a fashion and lifestyle blog, and those that follow me will know that that's my area of interest and what I love to blog about. But it doesn't mean it's my only interest and I love sharing and talking about other things that tickle my fancy on this little space of the internets - I guess that's why I chose such a random blog name so that I could talk about anything and everything - what does Electric Sunrise even mean? Anyways, let's not get distracted... you'll know from my previous post [here], I was recently sent the new smartphone from Vodafone, the Smart Prime 7. I have never had the opportunity to review a piece of technology on the old blog before, but it's an area that I have huge interest in - I actually have a masters degree in digital marketing and really interested in the development of mobile technology - so even though I'm a 'fashion blogger', I was really excited by this opportunity.

Because I've never reviewed a smartphone before, I wasn't really too sure where to start. I guess it makes sense to begin with the basics, so here we go. The handset of the Smart Prime 7 has been designed incredibly well - it's sleek, understated, minimalistic and perfect for anyone looking for a phone with style. I actually prefer the design of the Smart Prime 7 to my own lovely little iPhone. The sleekness of the handset is attractive, there are no big ugly buttons that stick out and the smooth surface is perfect for sliding into your pocket or handbag.

As I've only ever used Apple products, it did admittedly take me a while to understand how the home screen worked, and how to locate essential smartphone features like messages, emails and internet. I've never used Android before and my brain is very much wired to understand Apple products, but I was relieved to realise that it was incredibly simple and easy - after a couple of minutes I was confidently scrolling, searching and zooming about on the device.

So, let's get to the important part; the price! I was very pleasantly surprised when I learnt the price of the Smart Prime 7 - I mean, let's stop and think about it... it's a stylish smartphone with fast wifi, there are a great variety of fast-working apps, there is a very easy to use interface and user navigation, and let's not forget about a high quality camera for all your instagram snaps... So, I was expecting a price in the region of a couple of hundred pounds. But not the Smart Prime 7 - it costs just £16 per month or £70 pay as you go.

That's right - it's incredibly affordable, won't break the bank and performs like one of the best smartphones out there. I've been really impressed with this phone and would whole-heartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality smartphone on a budget. I have also realised that there is no need to be spending ridiculous amounts (£500++) on a smartphone, when this one does everything you would ever want/ need from a modern phone.

Have you heard of the Smart Prime 7 before? Have you got one? Or, are you looking for a new smartphone? Let me know what you think about this review in the comments below, hope you enjoyed it! :-)

More soon,

Helen
